# Expert Suggestions:

01 -
  • It takes exactly as long as scrolling through your phone in the morning, but you end up with something genuinely nourishing instead of regret.
  • The frozen berries make it thick enough to eat with a spoon if you are that kind of person, and I absolutely am that kind of person.
02 -
  • If you use all fresh fruit and skip the ice, you will get something more like a juice than a smoothie, which is fine but not what we are after here.
  • Letting the smoothie sit for more than ten minutes causes it to separate and look unappetizing, though a quick stir or reblend fixes it completely.
03 -
  • Freeze your bananas peeled and sliced so you never have to wrestle a frozen peel off again, which I have done and do not recommend.
  • A tiny pinch of salt in the blender makes the berry flavor pop in a way that catches people off guard in the best way.
